Natural Deodorant: How Does Deodorant Work?

Natural deodorant products are very effective for neutralizing and preventing unpleasant body odor from perspiration.  The body perspires to cleanse itself and to get rid of toxins and bacteria. Perspiration is a healthy cleansing, cooling and detoxifying function of the body. Products used to prevent underarm odor generally fall into two (2) categories: deodorants and antiperspirants. While most people use the terms antiperspirant and deodorant interchangeably, they are not the same.
